The Pantry on Egmont is often referred to as “a Hidden Gem” since we are tucked away in the backstreets of Hawthorn SA. We are known for our excellent food, coffee and service.

We use quality local ingredients…some even sourced from our own kitchen garden – or the gardens of our amazing customers (we will trade you coffee for your produce!)

We take the “War on Waste” seriously we compost all our food scraps, all our take away products are biodegradable and we are proud to say we are straw free.

We are kid friendly – we have an awesome kids menu which even has a colouring in section! Your children get the same quality ingredients as we offer you (but in a more kid friendly approach).

We respect dietary choices and have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options on our regular menu as well as on our specials board.

Oh … we are pet friendly as well. Your dog will love watching the trains pass by as you enjoy a meal or coffee at one of our outside tables.

Our cafe can be enjoyed after dark on occasion. Regularly we hold fine dining degustation dinners or share plate dinners. The café also functions as a private event venue for birthday parties, hens nights, corporate dinners, christmas parties etc… (we are fully licensed)
