Overview

Nestled in the Adelaide Hills, just 40 minutes from the city, straight up Gorge Road, lies The Cudlee Creek Café.

The Café has been a well kept secret for many years and is frequented by enthusiasts of all kinds. Classic car clubs, motor bike groups, serious cyclists and athletes are among the few.

The owner, Babette Wilkinson, prides herself on the best selection of fresh locally sourced produce used in her menu. Most of this produce is organically grown and is also available to the public.

The interior has had a contemporary facelift with the addition of vibrant colours and uplifting designs. The first thing you notice, as you walk in the door is the aroma of freshly brewed Amanti coffee, drifting throughout the café.

In winter you are greeted with a cosy wood fire and huge pots of homemade soup and locally made turkish bread. You may also notice the counter is packed with homemade cakes, biscuits and local produce including wines and olive oil. The café is licensed and stocks a variety of wines and beers including the fabulous Lobethal Bierhaus range of Pale Ale, Stout, English Dark Ale and German Wheat Beer.

On those warm summer days you can sit and enjoy the view of the gorge. Relax and take in the fresh air in the picturesque garden with peace of mind that your children can run around safely. On the menu there is always a great summer salad sourced from the freshest locally produced products.
