Overview
Murray Bridge Speedway is a major attraction for locals, Adelaide residents and visitors from interstate and overseas with major national and international meetings held each year from October to May.
The speedway itself is part of the history of Murray Bridge. Established in 1958 by a group of local business men who needed a venue to do what they love the most. During this time, the speedway has hosted many state and national championships and the FIM World Sidecar Championship in 2011. On average 2 national titles are held every year along with numerous other national series rounds.
The Murray Bridge Speedway Complex is “Just up the Freeway” from Adelaide. Approximately 45 minutes drive time via the scenic Adelaide Hills along the freeway, takes you to the Murray River city of Murray Bridge. The track is located approximately 1.5km from the city centre on the eastside of the river.
